What will the midterm look like?

  • The material covered by Midterm 2 includes material from Chapters 6-9 and Sections 12.1-12.4 of LK notes and the corresponding chapters of PD notes. See the Course calendar for detailed readings (from Oct. 4 up to Oct. 30). You should also look over the learning goals for this period.
  • Midterm 2 will focus on the material covered after Midterm 1 but material from before Midterm 1 is still relevant. For example, you should be able to do tangent lines problems (a Midterm 1 topic) although now you can expect the functions involved to be exponential and logarrythmic instead of polynomial and rational functions.
