- Sept. 17 - Last day for W-free withdrawal from the course.
- Sept. 18 - UBC classes cancelled to allow for participation in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission National Event.
- Oct. 3 - Midterm I, 6 pm
- Oct. 14 - Thanksgiving Day. University closed.
- Oct. 11 - Last day for withdrawal from the course with a W.
- Nov. 5 - Midterm II, 6 pm
- Nov. 11 - Remembrance Day. University closed.
- Nov. 29 - Last day of classes.
- Final exam - DO NOT SCHEDULE TRAVEL PLANS DURING THE PERIOD DEC. 4-18 INCLUSIVE UNTIL THE EXAM SCHEDULE IS RESOLVED. By UBC policy, conflicts arising from such plans will not be considered as grounds for a deferred final. The exam schedule will be announced in mid-October.
