Midterm date and time

• The midterm will be held on Oct. 20. The time of the midterm depends on which slot you sign up for. Please use the midterm sign-up form.

Study tips

• The best way to study is to do lots of problems: WeBWorK problems, problems from the back of each chapter in the course notes (answers available in the appendices), practice problems. Questions similar to the WeBWorK assignments, quizzes and the OSH will appear on the midterm.

Format

• The midterm will consist of a number of multiple choice questions, some short answer problems (show work, enter answer in a box) and three longer questions more like OSH. See links below for old midterms and solutions but keep in mind that the course content and order changes from year to year.
